Students with foreign educational qualification

Laurea (BSc) Study Programme

To apply for the BSc’s programme, students with an educational qualification obtained in a European country (or countries listed as equivalent) have to follow the same admission procedure as candidates with an Italian qualification, namely they need to:

  • pass the admission test
  • apply and compete a spot in the programme (no reserved number of positions)

Students with an educational qualification obtained outside of the EU need to follow a different process than the students with an Italian diploma. They are requested to:

  • fill an interest form
  • pass the admission test
  • apply for a reserved number of positions

In addition, regardless of which of the aforementioned categories they fall into, candidates are required to provide the International Students Office with the supplementary documents needed for their enrolment.

Further information concerning documents to submit, admission requirements and deadlines are available at the Guidance webpage (Italian only) of Politecnico di Milano.

Laurea Magistrale (MSc) Study Programme

Both Italian and foreign citizens with a degree obtained abroad should follow the admission procedure reserved to international students. They are required to:

  • fill the admission application for international candidates
  • provide the Italian Ambassy in their country of residence with documents required for enrolment.

Further information concerning documents to submit, admission requirements and deadlines are available at the Guidance webpage (Italian only) of Politecnico di Milano.
