The teaching materials of all courses for both the Bachelor and Masters’ programmes are shared by professors on WeBeep, the Internet portal used by students and faculty of Politecnico di Milano.
WeBeep is based on an open-source search engine and is a dynamic web portal. New functionalities are periodically implemented and the platform gets improved thanks to the comments of the international community, and especially by suggestions of the Politecnico di Milano’s students.
On WeBeep, the teaching materials related to various courses are published in folders and subfolders. In this way, students can easily find the materials they need. Faculty members may also create “submission folders”, where students can upload their coursework.
In addition to sharing materials, WeBeep supports teamwork, online communication between faculty and students and network resources and tool integration.
